I hate to break into something long here, but I mean that work in preservation in that make digital copies of physical media, and create methods by which people can continue using their physical media.

I'd also like to emphasise that I'm really not looking for either an argument, or an extended debate on the subject.

I'm sure you have your own excellent reasons for your preferred data preservation practices, but I genuinely do not have the spoons to discuss them with you today, apologies.
