It's a really bad habit to go around calling systemd, "Linux" to the point that you're implying that Linux is more than a kernel by writing "Linux kernel".
I suggest you write Linux when you mean Linux and systemd when you mean systemd - same as other software - but if you want to point out expressly that Linux is only a kernel, the two unambiguous ways to write that is; the kernel, Linux or Linux, the kernel.
