IDK how many vaccines were developed in Chinea, but we did receive Sinovac in Brazil, and it is by far the one with fewer adverse effects. (Over the years I took 2 doses of Sinovac, 2 different Moderna and 2 different Pfizer, or something like that.) It was developed using a well known mechanism which underlies a lot of classical vaccines for other diseases, including some you probably took. Its problem is being less effective then the RNA ones.
