CohenTheBlue@cstross @jalcine Pretty sure in my case it's just dictatorship paranoia. At least the US pretends a little (for now). A matter of the lesser evil. There simply is no other nuclear power to stand against dictatorships, yet. Even India is veering awfully near dictatorship and even worse into greedy capitalism than the US.
