Ami Angelwingsi know this isn't new for queer stuff in translated fiction (just look at the cope people did with Bridget and Vivian), but at this point if you say "even the official English subs are wrong" we're really into epistemology "how does anybody really know anything" territory to try to deny that a girl can love another girl. How can anybody know the truth of the words of a fictional character if even the source that created those words have interpreted them incorrectly? How does anybody know anything? Is there in truth no lesbians? Is Japanese even real? Are we real?
