Early on in the pandemic they said masks were ineffective, so they needed to be reserved for hospital staff until we can produce more. Huh? That's not even getting into all of the times our public health experts decided to wade into political waters rather than staying in their lane. They handled it extremely poorly and only have themselves to blame.
