3️⃣The President-elect will then receive proposals of candidates for Commissioners. She or he will select them and allocate policy portfolios.

4️⃣Together with the Council, the President-elect will adopt the list of proposed Members of the Commission, one from each EU country, including the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, who will also become a Vice-President of the Commission.
