Every time a new creative technology arises it's vilified, especially if it can allow more creative access to the general public.

Photographs aren't art, you just point a box at what you want to paint and it happens. It'll put painters out of work!

Same for motion pictures, sound in movies, digital photography, special effects, CGI, photoshop, camera phones...

AI is a tool, and it does democratize image making to some extent, and it will impact the industry. Like all the rest.
