your second point is irrelevant too since were still talking about art here. if an artist has low standards and uses shitty bad dalle slop, people will stop giving them money for commissions and theyll not profit. if the artist uses the tech well and it helps them make better works, then it helps them and it works. nobody is saying chatgpt should replace civil engineers. everything in this thread is elective non critical artworks
