@sun I am so, so, so lucky to have gotten a degree without a pile of extremely sticky debt. although tbh it hasn't been super relevant for the last decade of my life as a member of the underclass. I suppose if I ever return to non gig work, it'll resume opening doors for me.

I feel I'm better for having gone thru it, but the whole system stinks these days. and in my case, there was nobody around to tell me that I wanted to be in software engineering rather than computer science.
