A dominant narrative is starting to emerge around audio porn, and it isn’t one that I – a woman and producer of audio porn – am particularly comfortable with. The narrative goes a little like this:“Video porn is demeaning to women and unethical, which is why women are flocking to audio. Audio is better for women because they don’t have to look at porn women’s bodies (which are all unrealistic and fake and make ‘real women’ feel bad) or worry that the women in the porn they enjoy are being exploited.
