@1ksrw I have been to a host club precisely once.

I went with someone else who had gone to host clubs a few times during their stay in Tokyo. They had a lot in common with the people who worked there, it was a good way for them to practise their Japanese, & they were so different from the normal host club patrons that it may have been a nice change for the hosts.

Personally I felt way too old to be there. also I drink very little alcohol & felt weird about the expectation of buying drinks
