    @smellsofbikes my favorite method, discovered by accident: if you mount SMD components on the back side, they perform thermal shutdown by self-desoldering and falling off.

    (I guess that at least half of electronics hobbyist have experienced that at some at some time, but _someone_ has to be the first to comment it, right?)
