@kerim @mmasnick Just like how Akkoma was forked off Pleroma, partly for the sake of getting a layer of separation from Gleason, the same was done with Mangane forking off from Soapbox. Mangane also has some Akkoma-specific features if it detects that as your backend.
I'm using manganapp.vercel.app/ with my Pleroma account and think it's neat. Mangan is a "fork" of Mangane, but the difference is four lines of Polish translation.
Note that Pinafore was retired. Someone created a fork Semaphore, but that soon slowed down too.
