Marriage is great if you do it right and understand what it's about.

As a kid I spent a bit of time at my great grandfather's ranch. He had a wooden foot. He lost his real one after hitting an electric line with a pipe that was on the back of his tractor. My great grandmother was bed ridden. She had rheumatoid arthritis. He faithfully took care of her, and despite his own ailments and tending to the ranch. It had a profound impact on me, and my view of marriage.
