@rysiek My money is that the next hype area will be some form of either robotics or a facelift for nuclear.

The excitement around AI was the possibility of firing much of the middle class, but that's still tricky while many jobs are being physically done by them.

Nuclear is the promise to sidestep climate change, which will likely be disruptive to capitalism too, with a non-carbon producing form of energy that still lets them keep power centralized, unlike wind/solar/geothermal etc.
