I'm not aware of anyone ever getting a legal complaint about it. That was part of what got neckbeard.xyz revoked, but they are on .st now; to date, I don't think anyone's died on that hill on fedi.

Because they didn't like the *reason* FSE didn't allow loli, the anti-loli brigade remained extremely mad and kept trying to pick fights over it. (I eventually got tired of answering the question: https://blog.freespeechextremist.com/blog/the-loli-question.html . The summary is that the reason it's not allowed here is the DOJ says they will prosecute it, and I don't think they will, but I also don't want to risk it: when they block FSE or if if the DOJ actually *does* start in on it, I don't want them to be able to use drawings as a pretext. There's not much to discuss, but they kept wanting to discuss it.) Then came the week of 1k+ notifications per day and as a consequence, although I continued removing it, I stopped banning people for posting it and stopped caring for the most part.

The Loli Question is like the Israel/Palestine of fedi: everyone CARES SO MUCH about it despite their opinion not changing anything, people will spend hours arguing about it, and they refuse to accept "I don't want to host it, but I don't care, it's a drawing." as an answer. It is all so tiresome.
