Jan Ainali@evan Thanks for specifying! To explain my thought process, to me, any statement about the future is open-ended unless specified (unless talking about something unavoidable). "I predict.." seems as likely as "I hope.." in such cases to me. In social media specifically, I also find that people more often talk about what they want to happen than what they think is likely to happen.
