@RustyCrab yeah, but EV people love to talk about how EVs are cheaper than ICE vehicles. they aren't, when you look at total cost of ownership and lifespan. not even close

if someone wants to buy a $100,000 electric sports car that's fine, but I could put 500,000 miles on my car, buy another one, put 500,000 miles on that, and still have a lot of money left over vs buying an EV with similar capabilities (high ground clearance, AWD, 400 mile range)
