Author in Mourning@bacchus1234 It's noteworthy that they say so publicly, but it's not (at all) new. As a young adult, I was stuck in those hyper-conservative religious circles. They call "sin" the root of basically all problems--anything from depression, poverty, illness, trauma... and/or anything close or in between. Their need for control never stops and this is a major tool.
