The Prosperity Gospel cult promises that god will reward you financially in this life for your faith, service, and, (especially,) contributions to the church (cult).
The corellaries are that if someone is financially successful, they must be doing god's will (whether they know it or not).
Similarly, if a person is not financially successful, they must not be doing god's will.
Thus, everyone who is poor or homeless must be a sinner.
They are just getting what they deserve.
The only help for persons is to join the cult so god will reward them.
      Twisted fuckers.

@bacchus1234 It's noteworthy that they say so publicly, but it's not (at all) new. As a young adult, I was stuck in those hyper-conservative religious circles. They call "sin" the root of basically all problems--anything from depression, poverty, illness, trauma... and/or anything close or in between. Their need for control never stops and this is a major tool.
