No, but that version of windows would be made by GNU.

How Alpine depends on lots of GNU software to work and how some of it doesn't end up in the image doesn't make it not dependent on GNU.

Have you really checked the whole dependency tree.

I can bet for any nontrivial package you will find GNU in the reverse dependencies if you look deeply enough.


Maybe I should do a full analysis to see how much of GNU Alpine uses - I would expect to find a lot despite its severe lacking of basic functionality.
