Honestly I'm kind of impressed by the Democratic party's skill at maintaining *just* enough difference from the GOP that people feel forced to support them while still fucking us all over at breakneck speed. They've been pulling this trick off for a long time.

It's not that there's *no* difference. It's that it's the smallest possible difference they could come up with that would be effective to keep voters locked in.
