But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”"
The jews murdered Jesus Christ. They did so with ignorance as to His true identity. In Judea in the first century, many jews converted to Christianity because their eyes were opened, and they praised God that He permitted their salvation despite their ignorant former bloodlust. Those jews who refused to convert decided to double down on their ignorance, when they ought to be taking the path of repentance that God has *always* kept open for them - faith in Christ, regeneration in Baptism. It is a tragedy how many of them have chosen to keep their eyes closed, covering their ears and screaming just as their ancestors did when stoning St. Stephen (Acts 7:54-60).
