@WarnerCrocker I've always thought of it as having been theft in the culture-making process. From public education to capitalist media, the whole of worker struggles to build unions was and continues to be deliberately filtered out. Capitalism and the state don't want and won't tolerate working class solidarity, organizing and the direct action that comes as a result. We're taught a partial history of the wealthy class that, we're told, deserve their wealth and privilege.
