BenI see a reasonable amount of live music and the big arena shows aren't for me any longer. I've taken the kids to see the intergalactically popular artists and it's not worth it. Except I suppose to them. But give me small venues every time. There are a few interesting festivals on near me where a town is taken over for a weekend and it's all unsigned bands playing all the pubs and clubs and bars, with some bigger names headlining the bigger venues. That's nice because you can see a wide range of artists before they break, and the venues are manageable.
