cognate (cognate@shitposter.world)'s status on Wednesday, 24-Apr-2024 20:39:02 JSTcognate I'm no expert, but I think a plain reading leads to the interpretation that Ruth's declaration of allegiance to God and the Israelite people (in Ruth 1:16), along with her demonstration of faithfulness (in the rest of the book), was what led her to be accepted as one of God's people, in a similar way to Rahab before her.
