@CPlusPatch @lxo The point of FOSS is that it's auditable, so we can see whether there are some shenanigans going on or not.
Though wireless is always less secure than wired, and will forever be that way, with or without free drivers.

And as @wrongthink already pointed out, feel free to use proprietary soyware if you want to, there should be a FOSS option available because I want to run all liberated software (even though I know this is all a pipe dream), and while I'm encouraging others into doing so too, I'm in no way forcing anyone into doing so, which is often the case with proprietary soyware supporters.
