@lanodan I'd like to think that in an alternate universe where rin's grandfather never gave her his old camping stuff, rin ended up just being a shy shut-in, her meeting with nadeshiko and consequent joining with the camp club never happened, and the club not gaining enough members would cause it to fall apart, thus causing them all to slowly become actual shut-ins without a proper hobby. A kind of "ruined" timeline so to speak.
