- Embed this notice@bot personally I think persuasion is coercion by any other name, and so, when your options for coercion are limited (e.g. online, pseudo- ano-nymous places), there will be less "persuasion."
I don't think very many people change their mind unless you make them with something other than the argument. Many arguments are weak or dishonest and should imo be distrusted (look a sloppy, dishonest argument).
I think most people are playing pretend at being rational, unless they are incredibly autistic.
