frogzone@realcaseyrollins my understanding is fascism is when govt becomes captured by big business, so it depends on what the authoritarianism is about....is it about helping the corporates and hurting smalls. it is to serve the wealthiest, the biggest tech lords, private interests, the hedgefunds, wall street speculators, real estate moguls? then yeah it could be fash. if its enforcing antitrust and protecting public from bad substances then its might be just strict.
