They're a lot more comfy to ride in than they used to be. Much smaller bed and not built to haul four people + 1.5k pounds of stuff in the back, but they'll definitely haul a few dudes and their tools or small industrial equipment. Even with the 2.2L engine, they can still tow up to 7k with the 3.6L V6. Direct Injection and turbo have pushed vehicle performance a lot. That said, I wouldn't want one for my family car because it's not nearly as comfy as a full sized trugg.
