With almost twelve thousand delivered, you know there's going to be regular problems associated with them. Engine problems in one yesterday I just found with a Brave News search are not likely due to the airframe. The most recent in a New Generation as in last generation where a Southwest engine cowl or part of one fell off in a plane that's been in service since 2017 could be Boeing, but more likely a maintenance screwup.
Hmmm, I wonder if airlines like SW which only flies 737s are distracted by focusing a lot of their attention on their newer and much less trustworthy 737s, and maybe neglecting the basics? And/or the CEO is a programmer and is I'm sure really focused on fixing their computer systems which they got very complacent about:
