@aven @lain @sun if you consider "dark age" to include how true creative works are being pushed underground, sure, but i don't understand why you care about the media market. even last century it was about having to have connections to big money, but it was a good way for culture to be pushed to the masses. nowadays with the internet, more niches developed, media and art production went smaller-scale because anyone can push their creations to youtube, bandcamp, or patreon (and many even make money off it)

so, i'm seeing less of a dark age and more a different way to access creative works
