You click it once, you get the url of the post, and the tag of the person who wrote it, and then the text that they wrote, in your composer window. Their post isn't affected in any way. Anything you post is on your account. If you change the text to try to misrepresent someone, they will just say "I didn't write that - you changed it", and anyone who clicks the link will see you changed it.
