@anonicus I never got the tax collector vibe from Mario, but given how many coins he's grabbed over the years, it fits... interestingly, he actually wasn't a plumber originally - all the way back in arcade Donkey Kong, he was apparently supposed to be a carpenter. The whole plumber thing didn't really kick off until the Mario Bros. arcade game (and even then, it was more for flavor than anything else).
