Japan was not subject to the entire weight of the jewish guilt machine unlike Germany because they're an after thought and was collateral simply because they were military allies with Germany. Frankly I doubt most people would even care that much about it if it weren't the case.
As for a parallels with the holobunga, here are some important differences.
1. Questioning any of these things is not illegal.
2. The person who accounted the events was an SS officer.
3. The people running unit 731 were pardoned by the US in exchange for providing their research materials.
In reality Japanese war crime revisionism doesn't even matter. Japan's government and population doesn't care about it nor have any burden of guilt, the Chinese government sees it as an issue past and doesn't care aside from posturing a bit. It is a hobby horse for Japanese revauvhists who want to say Japan did nothing wrong with their invasions and for right wingers online who thinks that just because they're allied with Germany it mean they must be good by association.
I have a suspicion that it is funded by neocon groups to turn the chinese population away from national socialism (and Japan) by association because Japan isn't already tied up enough to the American sinking ship.
