richardpascoe@jameshjacksonjr Indeed. I blocked the domain as soon as I heard Threads had federated. Others have explained the situation far better but its not really a question of a group making decisions on behalf of the Fediverse. Through lack of effective moderation by Meta, Threads is already breaking rules most servers within the Fediverse have, mastodon.social included. Domains have been defederated for far less, which is why many of us feel Meta has been given a free pass.
