Dale Harvey@lmorchard I agree that I don't think it will be successful, however the same group of people have successfully shut down a bunch of fedi related projects. I don't think its a foregone conclusion especially considering how centralised the fediverse is and is likely to remain.
Also campaigns like this fail because people push back against them, which is what was being subtweeted about.
