@sapphire @nugger Yeah none of this stuff lasts forever, if it's worth preserving for the generations, it needs to be refreshed periodically. For digitized photos this will involve copying to new storage media and manually going over them while the N-1 copy still works. Don't neglect separate backups either, if you don't have multiple copies of something, geographically separated, you don't actually have it at all. Everything in this world rots eventually and that's ok.
