- Some idiot saw a drawing of two clothed girls kissing and reported it as "Child porn" to Cloudflare, which proxied instance it was on.
- Cloudflare redirected that report to Hetzner (hosting provider) and some anti-child-abuse agency without properly checking
- Hetzner also didn't check the report and immideately demanded admins of instance to take down the whole instance in 24 hours or they will block their account.
- Hetzner didn't properly address their mistake in conversation and continued to demand site takedown, saying that nsfw is not allowed (pic was very much sfw)
- Only after public backlash from fedi people Hetzner stopped demanding instance takedown and instead just told to delete the picture anyway.
- People have also learned that a lot of providers don't allow nsfw content which is suboptimal for a lot of people and a lot of instances don't comply with that.
