Its useful for keeping activity hidden (to an extent. its not actually all that private). But it is vastly more expensive and inefficient than normal ways of moving money or just like...paying cash.

Are there situations where crypto is the answer? Yes. Are they as boundless as the billions in investment money would have you believe? Not remotely lol
