Suddenly all the postmodern feminist racist university scholarship rot that was collecting dust got huge money and went mainstream. Suddenly being color-blind was the new racism, and quotas and seeing people as their skin-color was the new "anti-racism". This accelerated after the 2016 election with an "all hands on deck" meeting of tech CEOs to make sure 2016 never ever happens again. Then the "shadow campaign that saved the 2020 election". [The Current Thing].
I do think Woke was created by glowies for divide-and-rule by race. Intersectionality is the ultimate wedge issue that can subdivide groups against themselves infinitely, and keep everyone extremely angry and afraid and divided all the time.
