Zardoz@killyourfm I don't have a ton of advice or experience with herbs but we did grow oregano last year and it seems hard to kill. Probably the biggest thing is just consistency with water and care, because if you get pests or fungus it can very quickly spread and wreck many plants. So try to water around the plants but don't get them wet to avoid mildews/fungus.
