@voltagex My own thought on the matter is that what I’m doing is essentially a read-only Mastodon client, and requires no special permissions beyond what any other client already has. It doesn’t make anything more public than it already was, generates no notifications, preserves content as is (modulo formatting), and preserves attribution and context. Still, I’m testing the waters carefully.
