In less than 100 years, we managed to pollute the entire ecosphere (until further notice: of the known universe) with micro-plastic, including every single animal and ourselves.

Because plastic is so convenient and economical. Turns out, it was economical for the corporations producing it (looking at you, Big Oil) but probably a huge liability for everyone else.

Who's gonna pay for the damages?

Surely not the companies, which sold the crap.
