DEI shit has galvanized a lot of people against you, that's true. But it's common for trannies to insist that being "transphobic" is a serious sin unto itself, like they're above being viewed negatively. It's kind of like Jews and anti-Semitism or blacks and racism. Taking political action to the effect of "you may not view my group negatively" provokes a backlash way worse than some people holding prejudicial views to varying degrees. It foments us vs them. When you combine the DEI tranissary shit with the rabid keffalsesque politics and the aggressive child recruitment you get something very nasty.
It's not the idea of someone being one sex and wanting to become the opposite on its own that's the true issue. It's all the baggage that came with it in the last decade. But that baggage has legitimately necessitated an extremely harsh and cruel pendulum swing, which we're now in the process of seeing materialize.
