youre right that eva is nothing without these. but so is almost every narrative artistic work. theres a reason were okay with every fictional story following the same heros journey. art appreciation on narratives analyzes HOW the story is told, not just the plot.
anything capable of being artful, can make for itself a vibe that is unique. anyone who can appreciate that vibe, can make for themself an interpretation that is unique.
