@artemist @ariadne Which reminds me of the cursed setup I ended up creating a bunch of years ago: sd (u-boot) + usb thumbdrive (/boot extracted from armbian) + sata (rootfs, forgot the OS, likely gentoo).
And of course the whole thing ended up suddenly dying on me, flash storage for you.
