Oliphant's max blocklist was inherently queerphobic, because it allowed a single source to add an instance to the list and just the baseline level of queerphobia in society almost guaranteed harms to occur.

TBS has a nearly identical problem, as TBS instances are not effectively independant from each other and may share moderators.
